Midnight - 8 AM Mellon Arena is looking for hardworking, dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our staff as we move forward at the new Consol Energy Center in the fall of 2010. Candidates must be able to perform the following functions: Candidates must be able to work with minimal supervision. Candidates must have strong customer service skills. Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic. Schedule will include weekends and holidays. Candidates must have an ability to interact with all levels of staff, including management. Event Security Special
Mellon Arena is currently hiring security specials. Security specials provide necessary security support to patrons visiting the facility. Security specials are part-time employees. Hours and days of work vary depending upon event schedule.
� Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Assist in the control of patrons that visit the facility
- Ensure crowd control stays at a reasonable level and assist in conflicts as needed
- Be knowledgeable about locations throughout the facility
- Be courteous and helpful
- All other duties/responsibilities as assigned
Working Environment/Conditions - High noise level
- Stair climbing
- Excessive standing and walking�for sustained amounts of time
- Position is not substantially exposed to adverse working conditions
